Admission Requirements of the J.A.T.C.

Applicants must be a legal citizen of the United States or a legal alien authorized to work in the United States by the U. S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. Proof must be shown at the time of application. The selection procedure is competitive in nature, with the highest scoring persons being offered apprenticeships. First, applicants must qualify on a third party aptitude test. Those that qualify on the aptitude test will then be scheduled for an interview. If you are offered a position in the next apprenticeship class, we will arrange for a physical examination, X-ray of your lungs and drug screening. You will be responsible for the cost of the physical exam and X-ray. Should you fail to successfully pass these examinations, your apprenticeship offer will be rescinded.
