MISSION STATEMENT
The International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators and Allied Workers JAC (LU14) Training Center's primary mission is to develop the most skilled, responsible and responsive insulators in the United States.
We are dedicated to building professionals who have the expertise, character and sense of teamwork to bring value to the clients they serve, the union they represent and the contractors who employ them. We accomplish this mission by:
Facilitating a unique learning environment with varying instructional objectives and technologies
Providing activities and resources that foster a positive and comprehensive training environment.
Providing career advancement through a combination of classroom instruction as well as shop and field experiences.
PURPOSE
The International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators and Allied Workers JAC (LU14) Training Center’s apprenticeship program provides proper and uniform training for persons who desire to become skilled journeypersons through an orderly method of improving the mechanical skill and technical knowledge of apprentices in the mechanical insulation industry.
APPRENTICESHIP CERTIFICATION
The International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators and Allied Workers JAC (LU14) Training Center apprenticeship program has been approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry since 1969. Inquiries regarding the program’s standards of apprenticeship should be directed to:
