Admissions and Enrollment
Students are admitted to the International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators and Allied Workers JAC (LU14) Training Center’s apprenticeship program when they have been offered and have accepted an apprenticeship position. The student will be required to complete the IAHFIAW JAC (LU14) Training Center Enrollment Agreement upon accepting an apprenticeship offer.
Tuition and Fees
There is no application fee to apply to the IAHFIAW JAC (LU14) Training Center apprenticeship program. There are no enrollment fees or tuition charged for the IAHFIAW JAC (LU14) Training Center apprenticeship program.
Refund Policy
Since there are no application fees, enrollment fees, or tuition charged to students, there is no refund policy.
Cost of Attendance
The cost of attendance is an estimate of the total amount of money it will cost a student to attend the IAHFIAW JAC (LU14) Training Center apprenticeship program. This estimated budget includes licenses/certifications, tools, work gear, and supplies.
The estimated total cost for the program over the five-year period is $1,200.00.
Graduation Requirements
Students that have successfully completed the apprenticeship program coursework will receive a Certificate of Completion from the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry and a diploma from the IAHFIAW JAC (LU14) Training Center.

Birth Certificate
High School Diploma or High School Equivalency with scores
If your high school diploma has been lost or damaged, you may submit a letter from your high school verifying your graduation in its place. The letter should be on the school’s letterhead, state your name and date of graduation, be signed by a school official, and include the school’s seal.
We understand that high school transcripts will include your graduation date. The Joint Apprenticeship Committee requires a diploma or letter from the school verifying graduation and transcripts. Failure to submit both documents will make you ineligible to apply for the apprenticeship program. Thank you for your cooperation.
High School Transcript (If you do not have your high school transcript, please upload documentation that you have ordered them. Have the school send them directly to us by mail to IAHFIAW JAC (LU14) Training Center, 2014 Hornig Road, Philadelphia, PA 19116) or by email to information@insulators14jac.com
Two Letters of Reference (Letters should be from two different people that are not immediate family members or members of Local Union 14.)
